Last weekend we had the pleasure of escaping to Carmel for a brief respite with the Dholakia family. We see so little of them most of the time (when you have kids a 45 minute commute between homes is kind of a big deterrent) that it was great to see Sonia and just hang out for a few days. C and D really like to hang out with Sonia and have talked about her a ton since. And when asked for a baby name, their three favorite suggestions are Sameer, LJ, or Satchmo (Cousin Serena's dog's name).
While there we went to the beach, and for some reason it degenerated into a "put sand on Mommy" event. Even the girls clearly realize I don't wash my hair enough these days : ). (thanks to LJ for taking pics and video).
