After weeks of anticipation we finally hit Halloween. In the past few days we celebrated with two different 'twins' get togethers and then topped it off with trick or treating on Wednesday evening. C/D were a little overwhelmed by trick or treating so we didn't last long. We went down my favorite street in the Marina. They block off the street and EVERYBODY gets into it...maybe too much for C/D. While we liked that the first house was serving wine to moms and dads, C/D were a little frightened by the cool costumes the homeowners were wearing and their 'tricked out' Halloween garages, and they REALLY didn't like the smoke machines several houses had. They also don't really like candy as it turns out (I know, wait until next year).
But I think for a first attempt at trick or treating we didn't do half bad.
