Mullet Moment

D/C have sorta grown these natural mullets--short in the front and halfway down their backs when wet. While I'm all for 'all business in the front and all party in the back,' I decided it was time for a cut. I also think Andrew feared I'd never cut it... my bloodline has a tendency to never cut children's hair (my brother Mikie looked like a girl up to about age 3)... so I guess I wanted to assuage his fears a bit. Besides, less hair means less places to stick their food (yes, in the hair is a new favorite, either via really dirty hands--they stick the food in like they are putting gel in--or a plate that one flips over on her head to entertain the other).

They didn't seem to mind the haircut that much, probably because it took all of 2 minutes for each of them (I was going to cut myself, but when I tried at home they kept whipping their heads around to see the scissors and it just scared me). I think she cut C's bangs too short, and now I can't help but think of Jim Carrey in Dumb and Dumber when I look at her.
